Separatio is the sixth of seven paintings that signify the seven exhibit halls in the museum that mirror the steps in the process of alchemy.The flasks represent science, but the beautiful light refractions and shadows epitomize the mysteries of the soul. Separatio is about distinguishing ones thoughts. Here the flask ponders it’s subconscious reflection, and craves to become whole.
